'There's tinsel in the dishwasher'
Surely the title of the book we have been promising to write for years. however, since that has barely progressed beyond the first page, we decided to use it for this, our first blog on our updated site.
Another school holiday has passed and we have seen some old friends and some new ones too.
As always our four legged friends have performed well and it's wonderful to hear the excited chatter in the dining room as people discuss their morning;s horse adventure.
We had some rain and teddy's new black feet were a source of amusement although the smiles turned to a look of horror as he decided to romp in the mud and then roll in campfire ash. I think he has invented a new compound which could probably be a really good building material. That same rain has made the creeks run and the main creek through the valley is trickling along after a long time of absence. Once more our rides splash through all those creek crossings whilst heading for the top of the property.
The campfires have been roaring and the odd brew of mulled wine has been concocted.
maybe that led to the source of our title... the mulled wine before the big Christmas dinner on Saturday night.
As someone was heard to say_ "It must have been a good party'
A fitting way to end the July school holidays.
